GFWC Pawtucket Woman's Club
The GFWC Pawtucket Woman's Club meets the first Monday of the month, October through April, with the Annual Meeting on the first Tuesday of May. The monthly meetings begin at 1:00 PM with a business meeting, followed by a program and a tea & fellowship time. Our meetings are held at Independence Square, 500 Prospect Street, Pawtucket, RI. Our Objective is to serve as a forum for women by encouraging our members to use their talents, to foster leadership development, to encourage and provide opportunities for volunteering with organizations in the Blackstone Valley, and to support and encourage each other's endeavors.
Our
projects for this past year included:
October 5th is Guest Day,
On April 20th five members of the GFWC Pawtucket Woman’s Club cleaned out the garden of the Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center - Rita Collins, Ethel Coppolino, Ruth Bennett, Irene Batastini, and Doris Landry.
On April 25th members collected cleaning materials at the Deborah C. Cook Public Library in Pawtucket for the Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center.
