September 14, 2022 was a celebratory day for the 112 active and 7 emerita members of GFWC-Women’s Club of South County (Rhode Island). On this date, 65 active and emerita members came together to celebrate 60 years of community volunteerism and involvement as well as lifelong friendships made along the way. Founded in 1962, GFWC-WCSC became a 501(c) (3) nonprofit in 2008 allowing our club to raise and distribute funds to other nonprofits throughout our area. As GFWC-WCSC members embark on the next 60 years of our journey, we will continue, and expand, our community service and volunteerism efforts. #IAMGFWC.
