GFWC Women's Club of South County
GFWC WCSC membership is limited to 135 women. All women who live full-time* or work full time* in Washington County, RI are eligible to apply for membership and may apply anytime using our on-line application. Applications are filed on the WCSC wait list in the order of date received, and are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Club reviews the membership annually in June to determine the number of membership openings available, if any.
Beginning no later than July 1 and continuing, if necessary, until September 30, if there are any member openings, new member applications on the wait list are processed in the order of date received. Applications are processed until the membership cap is reached. After the membership cap of 135 is reached, remaining applications are placed on the wait list for the following Club year.

Application Process
In early June, the Club’s Finance Team determines the number of membership slots open.
If there are membership slots open, a Membership Team representative will contact applicants in order of position on the wait list to determine if applicant is still interested in joining GFWC WCSC. Once the number of still-interested applicants reaches the number of open membership slots, the next step in the admission process, Orientation, will start. Applicants must attend one of the orientation sessions arranged by the Membership Team.
At the completion of the Orientation session, if the applicant is still interested in becoming a GFWC WCSC member, the last step is submitting annual dues (currently $75). Additional requirements for new members will be reviewed at the Orientation.
Applicants remaining on the wait list receive a notification status once the membership cap of 135 is reached and asked if they wish to remain on the list for the next Club year.
