Libby Monahan – President

Libby oversees and directs all Club activities. She leads Team Leader Council (TLC) and membership meetings, ensures accurate minutes, serves as an ex officio member of all the Club's teams, except for the nominating committee, acting as the Club's spokesperson, authorizes spending, selects the chair of the Nominating Committee, and attends Board of Directors meetings of GFWC RI.

Linda Butera Noble – President Elect

As President Elect, Linda assists Libby in overseeing and directing Club activities (as referenced above) in preparation for assuming additional responsibilities of the position of President during the next term.

Kim Hanson – Community Funding Co-Team Leader

The Community Funding Team oversees the distribution of funds by supporting non-profit organizations with grants and women in need of financial assistance for education with scholarships.

As part of her responsibilities, Deb oversees the Grow Hope Grants committee, Scholarship committee, and the Essay committee.

Stephanie Shovlin – Community Outreach Co-Team Leader

As part of their responsibilities, Sandy and Stephanie oversee volunteer projects such as the the Peace Dale Dinner Table where members prepare and deliver over 200 meals each month to needy members of the community and the Soup for the Docks program serving lunch to factory workers and fishers at the Port of Galilee.

Sandy Wilcox – Community Outreach Co-Team Leader

Stephanie and Sandy also oversee volunteer projects such as the Club's Adopt-a-Highway project, a reading program at the CANE Daycare Center, the Birthday Bag project and many others.

Laurie Sutherland – External Communications Co-Team Leader

The External Communications team leaders promote the Club, its mission, its activities, and its members through print, broadcast, digital, and social media. They are responsible for developing and executing a coordinated external communications strategy.

The External Communications team leaders routinely work with Internal Communications and other teams to create content for the Club's website, its Facebook postings, press releases, and other Club documents. They also serve as liaison with South County community groups, including the Southern Rhode Island and Narragansett Chamber of Commerces.

Sandy Coletta – Finance Co-Team Leader

Sandy and Judy oversee the financial management of the Club and its programming. They manage the budget, operating expenses, cash accounts and payments to the national GFWC.

Judy and Sandy present the Treasurer's Report to the TLC and to the Club's general membership. 

Working with the Leaders of the Fundraising and Scholarship teams, Finance will ensure that donors receive proper acknowledgement of their gifts consistent with IRS requirements for charitable gift deductions

Nancy Belden – Fundraising Co-Chair

Nancy and Linda plan and manage numerous fundraising efforts throughout the year. The major fundraiser is the Book & Author luncheon planned for September.

Linda and Nancy also plan and manage other fundraisers including the Bungalows on the Beach fundraiser planned for the Spring. Thier team identifies and implements opportunities to raise funds needed to ensure the continuation of the Club's programming.

Jane Baldi – Hospitality Co-Team Leader

Jane and Linda explore and schedule field trips for Club members. These "Funshine" events bring members together to enjoy the area's attractions, from art galleries to high teas.

Linda and Jane also locate and arrange Club meeting venues and speakers. They also maintain records of programs and meetings.

Maureen Barney – Internal Communications Co-Team Leader

Maureen and Tracy are responsible for distributing important communications to the membership as needed and manage internal data, such as member information.

If you need to communicate with members of the Club, Tracy and Maureen are your "go to" team leaders. They are responsible for the Club's newsletter, Connect!.

Maria and Susan oversee the recruitment of new members and oversee  their mentoring and integration into the Club. They track membership status of all members, including meeting attendance and retention. They also work to ensure that all members are engaged in Club activities.

Susan and Maria oversee the recruitment of new members and oversees their mentoring and integration into the Club. They track membership status of all members, including meeting attendance and retention. They also works to ensure that all members are engaged in Club activities.

Nancy LaPosta Frazier – Operations Co-Team Leader

Nancy and Susan keep the Club running smoothly, effectively, and in accordance with the Club's stated mission. They ensure that the Bylaws and Policy & Procedures are adhered to and that state reporting obligations are met.

Susan and Nancy also are responsible for managing the Club's Google Drive folders and assist team leaders with the any tasks related to the Drive as needed.
