GFWC WCSC membership is limited to 135 women. All women from Washington County, RI, are eligible to apply for membership and may apply anytime using our online application. Applications are filed in order of date received and are processed on a first-come/first served basis.

New membership applications are processed between July 1 and September 30, if we have openings. Membership fluctuates during the year due to resignations or non-renewals.

The Club reviews the membership roster annually to determine the number of members and possible openings for new applicants.

Membership Requirements

Participate in our annual fundraiser (currently our annual Book & Author Luncheon)

Assist in one Club meeting by providing a small portion of the refreshments for our meeting.

 

Application Process

Between July 1 and September 30, if there are Club openings, a Membership Team representative will contact you to see if you are still interested in joining the Club. If so, they will set up an orientation meeting to provide information about the Club, discuss which Team(s) you think you may be interested in joining, and answer any questions you may have. Afterward, you will need to pay the membership fee (currently $75) and provide a headshot for our Club directory (Pink Book).

All applicants receive a status notification at the end of the recruiting time period to determine if they remain interested and, if so, the application remains in the Club’s files and is reviewed during the next year's processing cycle.
