GFWC Bristol County Women's Club

The Club was established in 1953 as the GFWC Barrington Junior Women's Club. In 2000, to broaden its scope, the Club changed its name to GFWC Bristol County Women's Club. Since that time the club has evolved to meet the changing needs of the community, locally, statewide and worldwide.


Our projects include:

  • Little Library -Free book library in local laundry

  • Donations to Local Homeless Agencies

  • Project Undercover

  • TAP-IN (Touch-a-person-in-need)

  • Valentines for Vets

  • Wish Trees

  • Women’s Resource Center of Newport & Bristol County (Domestic Violence Awareness)

Club meetings are held at night the first Monday of the month

April through December at

St. John’s Episcopal Church, Community Room

191 County Road, Barrington

*In September it is held on the 2nd Monday
